Published on: 29th October, 2023

Hi everyone, welcome back to season one, episode four of She's a Christian podcast. Today I'm joined by Ashley Kesson.

Ashley is a high school History Teacher but has now re-trained in guidance teaching. She has a diploma in nutrition, is a qualified fitness instructor and coaches the cheerleading squad 'Perth Phoenix Allstars'!

Ashley is a busy mum and has added another income stream over the last couple of years by becoming an independent consultant with B Corp certified, Arbonne.

Ashley talks about her battle with anorexia and bulimia that began when she was 12 and lasted over a decade, but how she is now completely healed from something that robbed her of so much Joy. She is passionate about educating others on a nutrient-dense diet and loving exercise!

About the Podcast

She's a Christian
The Podcast with Louise B.
Welcome to the She's a Christian podcast ... I'm your host Louise, and you guessed it - I'm a Christian.

This is a place where you can feel like you've popped around to your friend's house for a cup of tea and a chat, and that you come away feel encouraged, peaceful and like you've had a really good laugh.

I get that the church thing can sometimes feel a bit inaccessible or you're put off by the religious "stuff" (so am I by the way).

Maybe you already have a faith .. or maybe you're seeking to learn a bit more about faith and what it could mean to your life. Perhaps you've met some " judgy mcjudgerson" Christians in the past and you're just not sure if it's for you - either way, I've got you!

My prayer is that this podcast will become your Christian crew, and you can always sit with us.

In our 30-40 minute episodes, I will be interviewing the most incredible Christians from all walks of life who will be sharing their testimonies of Jesus' goodness and what he has done in their lives.

Whether you're listening on the school run, doing the dishes at night or sitting at your desk having lunch - I hope you'll be encouraged with this.

Especially if you might be thinking "how can there even be a God in this world right now?".

Join me on this journey ... I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm reminded that God doesn't call the equipped ... he equips the called.

God bless,
Louise
