Episode 8

I had a baby, then things went a bit crazy.

Published on: 7th January, 2024

Hi and welcome to season one, episode eight of the She's a Christian podcast. In this week's episode, I am being interviewed by my friend, Wendy Griffith. We talk everything from handbags, business, health, podcasting, and my postpartum OCD journey.

This was part of an interview I did for Wendy's, Thriving Women Project podcast; it's for women who want to level up in all areas of their life, health and business. Wendy is a great friend of mine. I really believe in her podcast and I’m so excited to share this with you today - even though there is some tough stuff we spoke about which left me with an oversharing hangover and it's just not things I ever thought I would talk about, and I keep thinking of ways to "under-share" this episode so that I can tick the box of publishing it but also keep listeners to a minimum because it just makes me feel anxious to talk about that season in my life. However here we are, and here you are, reading these show notes!

The topics that we cover are super relevant to what I'm trying to do with the She's a Christian podcast. If we what we speak about in today's episode, especially regarding postpartum OCD and resonates, please know you are not alone in this.

Please reach out to a trusted friend and your Doctor, or anyone in the healthcare industry who is equipped and has the credentials to listen to you and to get you the help and support you deserve.

Be sure to subscribe and review this podcast, it would really help.

About the Podcast

She's a Christian
The Podcast with Louise B.
Welcome to the She's a Christian podcast ... I'm your host Louise, and you guessed it - I'm a Christian.

This is a place where you can feel like you've popped around to your friend's house for a cup of tea and a chat, and that you come away feel encouraged, peaceful and like you've had a really good laugh.

I get that the church thing can sometimes feel a bit inaccessible or you're put off by the religious "stuff" (so am I by the way).

Maybe you already have a faith .. or maybe you're seeking to learn a bit more about faith and what it could mean to your life. Perhaps you've met some " judgy mcjudgerson" Christians in the past and you're just not sure if it's for you - either way, I've got you!

My prayer is that this podcast will become your Christian crew, and you can always sit with us.

In our 30-40 minute episodes, I will be interviewing the most incredible Christians from all walks of life who will be sharing their testimonies of Jesus' goodness and what he has done in their lives.

Whether you're listening on the school run, doing the dishes at night or sitting at your desk having lunch - I hope you'll be encouraged with this.

Especially if you might be thinking "how can there even be a God in this world right now?".

Join me on this journey ... I have no idea what I'm doing, but I'm reminded that God doesn't call the equipped ... he equips the called.

God bless,
Louise
